Ref. attached I regret that owing to the lapse of time, & the stress of War in France, that it is quite impossible for me to throw any light on the matter, or to recollect the case or individuals concerned.
I may however add, that any articles taken from Germans, were, if they came to the hands of the Provost Staff, handed in to Ordnance Store in Hong Kong.
